We’ve thought about that question a lot throughout the years. We don’t know about you, but our legacy makes us want to get in formation. We want the legacy of iNgage Community Church (ICC) to:
- Reflect our vision of seeing people grow, lives transformed, and communities impacted through the hope of Jesus Christ.
- Create a welcoming place for believers and unbelievers alike to experience Jesus Christ in a powerful way.
Our new, permanent campus is a part of that legacy. We’re working hard behind-the-scenes everyday to make sure that ICC is a place that you and your loved ones feel safe, welcomed, and at home as you encounter God. Not only do we want you to experience God in a powerful way, we want your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to experience Him too.
What is Legacy?
Legacy Giving began in 2018 with the goal to move into our own, permanent building by the year 2020 – furthering our vision of seeing people grow, lives transformed, and communities impacted through the hope of Jesus Christ. A permanent space of our own gives us the opportunity to reach more people and create a larger footprint in Charles County.
Thanks to God’s goodness and the generosity of our ICC family, we were able to accomplish this! 2 Corinthians 9:10 says, “He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.” We’re happy to report that God is faithful to His word!

A Message From Pastor B
Archelle and I are so excited about what God is doing in the life of iNgage Community Church. In our first four years, we have so much to be thankful and are excited about what our future holds. In 2018, as a church, we believed that God would provide us a place to call home in the year 2020. We didn’t know where or even how, but that God would make a way. With the confidence that God would keep his word, we started what has become known now as Legacy: God’s Promise, Our Preparation. God has kept His promise, and all that is left for us to do is finish preparing. Archelle and I invite you to help us finish preparing the home that we believe will see many more salvations and transformed lives by participating in our Legacy offering.
– Pastor Nelson Bowen

We’ve heard multiple testimonies from this season, and below we share one of them with a gentle reminder to never limit what God can do in your life:
Approximately two years ago, I accepted the special opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself – which was then presented as a Legacy Offering. I was living with my parents – and as grateful as I was to live rent-free with their support, I was also looking faithfully at my realtor app like many people look at Facebook or Instagram. At that time, a suitable home for myself seemed unobtainable and unrealistic based on my finances. However, it was definitely one of my heart’s desires. With homeownership in the back of my mind, I prayed over the Legacy offering that I would give and rested at a number that I knew would be a challenge for me and my faith, but also something that I could realistically give every month. Honestly speaking, as months passed by, and as I transferred God’s money out of my account, I grew a bit frustrated with the process – things did not look good for my quest to own a home. That monetary amount that was a challenge for me and my faith, was definitely proving to be a challenge for my house budget. BUT I kept the motto of “God’s house over my house” and felt encouraged to still trust Him.
I kept looking for houses – faithfully – on my realtor app and one day, I stumbled upon a house that was in pretty good shape and within my budget (miraculously). Fast forward to October of last year, I found myself signing papers to own that home. I can honestly tell you that God’s favor was with me through every single step of homeownership – from finding the right realtor, getting the maximum amount of seller’s help in closing, and so much more. What’s amazing is that I can afford to fulfill my Legacy commitment – yes, the same amount that made homeownership look unobtainable – but more than that, God has restored the exact amount that I give to go back into my account each month.
All glory and honor to Him.
